Director Sarhatt Speaks on the Positive Peer Influencer Program

The collaboration between the Chatham Narcotics Team (CNT) and the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) has resulted in the creation and implementation of an innovative program aimed at addressing critical issues facing today's youth. Through this partnership, high school students are empowered to educate middle schoolers about the dangers of fentanyl, equip them with essential skills to make healthy choices, and provide strategies to navigate peer pressure effectively. By leveraging the mentorship and expertise of older students, this initiative fosters a supportive community environment while delivering vital knowledge to younger peers, ultimately promoting safer and healthier lifestyles among the youth population.
